Carolyn – Honey Blonde Sasha with fabulous hand knitted coat and hat by Carolyn.
Diane R. – Peter, a Gregor doll with a mysterious past and a special place in the heart.
Flo – Alice, one of Flo’s one-of-a-kind polymer clay beauties.
Maria – Laurel the Wood Fairy, a Just Pretend doll with table, chair, and cool woodsy accessories. The doll that got Maria hooked.
Fran – Latisha May, an old-fashioned cloth doll with painted head, arms and legs in the method of Issanah Walker and clothes of vintage fabrics, all made by Fran.
Virginia – A basket of cute little dolls with one very special teddy bear.
Audrey – Robin (Carlie), a little 8.5″ Heidi Plusczok doll and a cute vintage ginny doll.
Rosemary – Books: “A is for Annabelle” by Tasha Tudor and “The Most Wonderful Doll in the World” by Phyllis McGinley – they inspire a wonderful doll wardrobe. Tonner’s Tyler “Riverfront Promenade’ wears a green silk outfit with embroidery.
Janet – Vintage 1960′s doll called Princess (high heeled lady doll) and her adorable baby with original clothes – it was her childhood doll. Her mom also made whole wardrobe.
Diane G. – Kristen, American Girl who has lots of outfits and Kristen even knits, just like Diane.
Evelyn – Heidi, a Sasha doll with a hand smocked dress with piping, made by Evelyn.
Kathy – Jane, with her pleasant look, wearing her spring yellow dress and braided hair.
Cheryl W. – Jennifer Elizabeth, a sweet angel baby doll, by Adora. She’s dressed in yellow with wings and has a soft cuddly body.
Jill – Raggedy Ann, her vintage and well-loved childhood doll, circa 1965. Also included Raggedy Ann books and one about Johnny Gruelle, who wrote the stories.
Claudia – Two Ann Estelle dolls by Tonner. The first was, “Life is Just a Chair of Bowlies’, and the second, a Minnie Me of Claudia, with “A Good Book outfit’. Also the book, “Books Fall Open and You Fall In.”
Sussi, who couldn’t be at the meeting, but sent this via the YahooGroup – Borge (named after Sussi’s father), her first needle felted doll who reminds her of good times with her mother.
Theme: “Yellow Sunshine and April Showers’ – many lovely Jane’s dressed in yellow or with rain gear, along the windowsill.
Happy Birthday, Faith!

This was a fun way to get to know each other and see and hear the stories about our special doll. I love everyone’s pictures. Diane R
