2010 March Meeting ~ Paper Dolls

Virginia put on a wonderful program about paper dolls, past and present. She
went into the fascinating history of paper dolls up to the present. We enjoyed
the company of John Schumacher-Hardy who brought a wonderful collection of
antique and early paper dolls as well as other items of the times. There was a
display table where we enjoyed many paper dolls from our club members. We also
had a Jane paper doll with her “Alice in Wonderland” dress and sets of tiny
paper dolls to go into a special folder, just the right size for dolls. Virginia
even sang the “Paper Doll Song”! Thanks for the wonderful program.
