You’re Invited…
…to attend a meeting of the Yankee Doodle Dollers doll club. Come share your love of dolls with other adults and learn about the fun things we do throughout the year.
Meetings
For the 2010-2011 year, we will be meeting on the second Tuesday of each month from September to June. We meet more informally over the summer months. We also have an informal “Needle Play” meeting just about every month at a member’s home where we chat, eat and work on personal projects.
Next Meeting
2010 – 2011 Regular Monthly Meeting Schedule
Museum being planned for Massachusetts
presents a program on a doll they enjoy!
love for a particular doll artist. Rather than
devote a night to one of them, we would
look at several and get a small taste of
their talents. Suggested artists were Tasha
Tudor, Sasha Morgenthal (?), Martha
Armstrong-Hand, Wendy Lawton
different accessories would be made that
could be used for a doll. Suggested ideas
werefoods, party hats, etc…
Alice got lost in the excitement. This could
be an opportunity to look at the history of
Alice in the world of dolls.
Schedule:
Location
Our usual meeting place is the Acton Congregational Church in Acton center:
12 Concord Rd.
Acton, MA 01720
We often change our meeting place so please make sure you contact us before coming! Weather is always a factor, so stay tuned to email or the phone for cancellations or rescheduling.
Directions to the church, including an interactive map, can be found on the church’s Directions page. The meeting room entrance is in the rear on the lowest level (enter off the brick patio).
